MEET OUR TEAM
JOSH NYBERG
A native of Fargo, ND, Josh Nyberg earned a Bachelor of Science degree in political science from North Dakota State University in 2008. He earned his law degree from Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, NE, with a concentration in litigation. While in law school Josh was active in trial team and competed in a national competition. Following law school Josh worked for a brief time in Omaha before returning home to Fargo to work for a local law firm. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and golfing.
In December 2016, Josh opened Nyberg Law Office. Josh is licensed to practice in North Dakota and Minnesota he has litigated matters in front of courts throughout both states, as well as the North Dakota Supreme Court.
Josh is also a North Dakota Family Mediation Program mediator, a parenting investigator, a guardian ad litem, and a qualified neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice. Josh is a member of the State Bar Association of North Dakota, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Clay County Bar Association, and Cass County Bar Association.

SEINA FREIDIG
Seina joined Nyberg Law Office in June of 2023 and works as the Office Manager and Director of Operations. She runs the finance and human resource departments. Seina began her career in banking and stocks. She then moved on to education, both at the secondary and collegiate level before working her way into the legal field.
Seina received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of North Dakota in August of 2005. She went on to become a degree candidate for her Master of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of North Dakota in March of 2007. Seina then went on to obtain her Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Mary in December 2009. She also earned her Master of Education in Mathematics in December of 2017. In 2022, Seina was the Vice President of the West Fargo Education Association. In August 2021, Seina joined the Arc of Cass County and served as Vice President. She has also been on the finance committee since starting.
Seina grew up in Hillsboro, ND, and currently lives in West Fargo with her two children and her cat. She enjoys working out, listening to audiobooks, and watching romantic comedies and most sports. She spends most of her time driving around her two teenagers, but when she can, Seina likes to travel to anywhere that doesn’t have snow.

CHELSEY HALVERSON
Chelsey joined Nyberg Law in March of 2023. She graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Paralegal Studies emphasizing in litigation. Chelsey is a member of the National Federation of Paralegals and the American Bar Association.
Chelsey's hometown is Barnesville, MN. She currently lives in Moorhead, MN with her daughter and 3 dogs. When she isn't at work she enjoys being outside, taking her daughter to her activities (dance, gymnastics, swimming), and just all around being a mom.
